Instructions

FUN CONCENTRATION GAME AND GREAT WARM-UP. ALL STUDENTS IN A CIRCLE. WE WILL COUNT NUMBERS CLOCKWISE, EXCEPT THAT:

  • ANY NUMBER THAT IS A MULTIPLE OF 3, OR CONTAINS A 3 (LIKE 13) BECOMES ’FUZZY’

  • ANY NUMBER THAT IS A MULTIPLE OF 7 OR CONTAINS A 7 (LIKE 17) BECOMES ’DUCKY’

  • ANY NUMBER THAT IS A MULTIPLE OF 3 AND 7 (LIKE 21) OR CONTAINS BOTH 3 AND 7 (LIKE 73 AND 37) BECOMES ’FUZZY DUCKY’).

 

DEBRIEF: HOW DID IT FEEL TO MAKE A MISTAKE? WHY SHOULD WE GET COMFORTABLE MAKING MISTAKES WITH DIFFICULT THINGS. REFLECT: “I CAN ACCEPT FAILURE. EVERYONE FAILS AT SOMETHING. BUT I CAN’T ACCEPT NOT TRYING.” MICHAEL JORDAN.
