STEP UP #2- THE HABIT LOOP

QUESTIONS FOR DISCUSSION IN ACCOUNTABILITY GROUPS

 

REFLECT (2-4 MINS)

  • What is the habit you are trying to cultivate?

  • Is it small enough to begin with?

  • How have you been going in keeping with your Habit Loop? Any success so far?

  • Any failure so far (for example- “the cue happened and I didn't do the routine”)?

 

ADAPT (3-5 MINS)

  • Do you need to adjust your cue / routine / reward?

  • What might make it more effective for you?

  • can you create another habit loop (or extend your current one)? (only if you have conquered your initial habit loop)

 

RECOMMIT (2-4 MINS)

  • State your updated habit loop to your group, very specifically.
