AUSTRALIA'S MOST ENGAGING AND TRANSFORMATIVE STUDENT LEADERSHIP TRAINING
FOR YEAR 5 OR YEAR 6 STUDENTS
UPP offers exceptional programs that will engage, inspire, unite and activate your year 5 or 6 students.
"Aspire Higher" is an engaging leadership and resilience training specifically designed for Year 5 (Semester 2) or Year 6 (Semester 1) students. It is a full day of training with the full cohort over three high impact sessions. Dynamic activities, whole cohort team builders, servant leadership theme, initiative and problem solving activities are interspersed in each session.
LEADING FROM THE FRONT (for formal leadership group)
"Leading from the front" is an action and impact oriented training program for your formal student leadership group. It gives them clear steps in order to generate a clear vision, put useful ideas into action (rather than just talk about them) and powerfully communicate the vision.
PROGRAM DETAILS AND OPTIONS
One day, two day and 3 day camp options are available to Primary schools who want to invest in developing leadership skills and resilience in students.
Some of our great session options for Year 5 and 6 students are:
- Leading with or without the badge- example, influence and kindness
- The Epic Race- outdoor, fast-paced team event (using our A.S.P.I.R.E. framework)
- Knowing me, growing me- understanding my strengths and those of others
- The power of TEAM (TEAM building session) aka "Battle of the Houses"
- The Learning Dip- full day program based on growth mindsets and grit
LEADING FROM THE FRONT (For formal leaders- students will journey through 3 powerful topics)
· Leaving a Legacy (Answering the Call, Casting the Vision).
· Getting Ideas into Action (Using UPP's Idea to Action Framework).
· Pitch Perfect (scripting and delivering high impact presentations that positively influence people to step up).
Included in all UPP leadership training:
· UPP leadership strengths inventory for each student.
· High quality follow-up lesson plans to ensure the messages have a lasting impact (includes student workbook). Check out a sample follow-up lesson plan and student workbook here.
