We have recently had some work done at our house involving a number of tradesman. It reminded me of the difference that can be made by the little things.

I want to give a shout out to all educators who are committed to leaving a legacy. I have recently read the book Legacy, by James Kerr- What the All Blacks can teach us about the business of life. It is a great book for anyone who wants to grow and be challenged as a leader (thanks to Bruce McPhee at Marist College, Ashgrove for the tip-off about this little gem of a read).

Resilience is a crucial life skill for all of us. Whether it is a relationship ending, a poor result on an exam, a sporting fixture lost or a job application that got knocked back- we need to learn how to cope with these things. We need to use this skill often.
