What our partner schools say

It went so well. Many staff spoke about it being engaging and that the speakers were fantastic.
— Peta La Motte, HT Teaching & Learning - Georges River Secondary College - Oatley
“Yesterday’s session was a complete success. The students really enjoyed the activities and the messages they received regarding leadership were very similar to the messages we have also been giving the students. It was so nice to have a different voice conveying the messages. Both facilitators were really engaging and made the session very enjoyable.”
— Joanne Davidson, Teacher, Methodist Ladies College, Kew

“We were extremely impressed with the presentation. The students were highly engaged and I felt that the session was a valuable one with a message that the students needed to hear. I don’t think it would hurt for the whole school to hear a similar message delivered that well every term. A great presentation. I was in agreement with all points. It was one of the most significant moments of the year. Empathy, consideration, social skills, emotional intelligence. I loved it! He was a character I could relate to.”

PRAISE FOR UPP FROM STUDENTS

“I would have to say that Friday was one of the best days I have ever had at this school, as what I gained from the day, has completely changed my view of leadership and kindness, and will stay with me forever.” Year 11 Student

“There were a lot of people who enjoyed your presentation. A lot of the people learnt something new or you reminded them about something. In my case you reminded me about things that I had forgot about that helped me before. The thing that I enjoyed most was the jokes and the part where we did the activities with our partner. Overall, your presentation was great and I thank you for coming to my school and giving us the opportunity to learn the stuff you talked about.” - Lachlan, Year 7

“Thank you for the encouragement you both gave today. When my teacher first mentioned we had to go and watch two random people talk I didn't honestly care yet when I got there it was the best encouragement I've had all year.” - Year 10 Student

“The sessions helped me to visibly see how each student possesses different strengths and weaknesses, in which when we come together, we are able to rise as a group and be the best we all can possibly be.” Year 11 Student

“Thank you for taking the time to come out to our school and do this inspirational presentation for us. The things you have taught us will definitely be applied to my life as the stuff explored today will make a lot of people’s wellbeing better. Your comedic approach to this topic made us enjoy it all the more. I truly believe that gratitude is an important part of our lives, so I would like to say thank you for the presentation. I enjoyed the presentation deeply. Thank you UPP.” - Danielle, year 12

“To UPP, I just want to thank you for taking your time out to teach us new life lessons for our educational journey. I have learnt many interesting things that I'll carry throughout my life. So I just want to thank you for this amazing experience.” - Year 9 Student

“Dear UPP, Thank you for coming to our school and helping us to understand wellbeing. I loved that session. I hope you can do it for the grade 7's next year. I loved the interactive activities and all your funny jokes. Thanks so much.” - Student feedback.
