Negativity bias is the human tendency to notice and be more influenced by bad things and bad experiences, instead of neutral or positive experiences.

No matter who we are, our mental health and well being can be improved. It’s not as simple as thinking our mental health is good or bad. Mental health is not fixed or static; it can change depending on our circumstances.

We have recently had some work done at our house involving a number of tradesman. It reminded me of the difference that can be made by the little things.

I want to give a shout out to all educators who are committed to leaving a legacy. I have recently read the book Legacy, by James Kerr- What the All Blacks can teach us about the business of life. It is a great book for anyone who wants to grow and be challenged as a leader (thanks to Bruce McPhee at Marist College, Ashgrove for the tip-off about this little gem of a read).
